The Acorns to Oaks Foundation, founded in 2011, is a parent-led, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to enriching the educational opportunities for all children at Garden Hills Elementary.
September 23 marks the start of our 100 Days of Giving campaign- and this year our goal is to raise $40,000.
Here are some ways your gift will help grow an acorn into a mighty oak this school year…
- Grow a School: $5,000 provides a new STEM module for SmartLAB to provide additional STEM enrichment for all students.
- Grow a Grade: $3,000 funds an immersive, off-site field trip for an entire grade. -Grow the Arts: $1,500 provides supplemental in-class materials to enrich lessons in Specials (Music, Art, Media Center, PE) for all students.
- Grow a Teacher: $1,000 provides specialized, professional IB, Gifted, ESOL, Math, or Literacy training for one teacher.
- Grow a Garden: $500 funds in-school garden projects for the year.
- Grow a Program: $300 provides ten students with access to online learning programs.
- Grow a Class: $150 funds one teacher with a grant for additional classroom supplies.
Over the next 100 days, we are on a mission to raise the required funds for ongoing support of these special programs and activities.
